A house in our name

Dath & Bergh Property Ltd buys houses and sells them. We hold the house ourselves between the two sales.

Buying

We buy from an owner who wants to sell to us. We agree a price, complete the purchase, and the house is then ours.

We do not buy a house in order to pass it straight to another buyer on the same day. The first sale ends with us.

Selling

When we are ready, we sell that house. The buyer deals with us, not with the person we bought from.

We show the rooms, we say what is included, and we put the price in writing before anyone is asked to decide.

The gap between

Between the two days we may repair, repaint, or simply wait until the papers are straight. We tell a buyer what has been done.

If a job is still open, we say so. We do not describe a house as finished when it is not.

Buyers and sellers

Sellers write with the address and a short note on the house. Buyers write to ask which house we can show.

We only talk about houses we own, or houses we are willing to buy. We do not offer homes that belong to other people.
